[Engineering Station Bridge ]

Thinking that it may have been a mistake to give the Captain the news about the warp drive, he chose the lesser of two evils. Give the Captain the outside estimate and beat a hasty retreat to the nacelle maintenance housing and start there.

Closing his station, he excused himself and headed for the turbolift.

[Main Engineering]

T'urok entered engineering, bellowing, "I want all shifts on duty NOW!!! This ship has 4 hours in which we have to do a Level 1 diagnostic across the board", he said. You could hear the groans from the assembled engineers. "If it takes you away from your girlfriends or boyfriends, tough, as for those with family, let your mates know you have to work. I expect everyone.....and I mean everyone, including myself, this diagnostic done and the warp engines done and online. We are supposed to be invisable out here and now we are hiding behind a moon...like a DOG with our TAILS between our legs in defeat. I am a Klingon warrior and I DON'T believe in failure", he finished. * looking across the hushed faces of the engineers assembled* "I don't hold you responsible for this stupidity, but I do expect you to find and fix what is wrong. If it can't be given a quick jury rig to temporarily fix it, make the report on it and move on. Let's get to it....the brass wants results", he ended the lecture right there.

Walking into his office, he stopped to replicate a tankard of cool bloodwine and sat down taking a good gulp of it. oOThat is smooth and a good year vintage. I wonder what the station forgot to complete with the work on the PowellOo It would appear that the Powell had not been fully completed before they left the station. To send a newly refitted Akira class out this way was a cowards way and a sure way of having the worst case scenario....destroyed. Finishing his drink, T'urok got up and walked out into the now busy engineering department, he burried his head deep into finding the answers.

OFF:

Lt. Cmdr. T'urok
